玉嬌龍在故事中追求一己的私願、私慾
,絕非求""之輩,最後的自殺,亦非為殉情或殉道,算是逃避罷了。她既負李慕白,又不專於羅小虎,想不通下一死了之,""之有?連起碼的承擔也沒有了。純粹"本能"驅動來的。

根據臥虎藏龍作者的背景和故事而言﹐他的確是有反對傳統禮教和爭取個人自由的意
思﹐但反對傳統禮教不就是反對儒家精神。真正的儒家精神是人文精神﹐人文精神
是尊重人之所以為人﹐尊重每一個人﹐而每個人也可以不隨物欲或不隨外在環境的
限制而跟隨自己內在的自覺主體而做出決定﹐這就是所謂誠心。這個誠心是儒家人
文精神的重點。作者所反的禮教﹐禮教是代表外在規條的限制﹐當然就不是真正人
文精神了。反對禮教而重申儒家尊重自覺主體的人文精神﹐才是更接近真正的儒家
精神。

I agree with Lancaster.
Yu Jiao-lung does not represent any Confuscian precept - her final dive is more Grecian than Chinese.
The author of the story (a Manchurian writer born at the turn of the last century) was rebelling against traditional Chinese thinking predominant at his age: shortly post the May Fourth. The fact that Li Mu-bai failed to convert Yu Jiao-lung points to the mindset of the author that traditional Chinese values DO NOT work any more.
That is why the film won Oscar Awards, but fair enough, though, no award was given to the script nor the directorship: only for other technical filming aspects which have no bearing on the theme or the philosophy behind the story.

岑、方兩位先生都誤解了!
鄙意認為在《臥虎藏龍》全套電影中,只有李慕白全心感化玉嬌龍的一段情節,稍為有一點兒儒家的教化意味外,其餘都了談不上有甚麼中國傳統儒家的人文精神!
從另一個角度看,我反而認為此劇充份反映了中國傳統文化中的宿命悲慘精神!
(當然,此片在藝術方面的成績我也是十分認同。)
